Les Dames d’Escoffier invites members of AIWF and Les Dames to a special reception with
ANNE WILLAN
founder of the legendary cooking school École de Cuisine La Varenne Anne Willan, a luminary in the culinary world, opened the doors of French cuisine to a global student body. Introducing stagiare, she changed the way culinary students are trained. Many of the nation’s top chefs are alumnae. So too are avocational cooks who benefited from her simplified, practical instructions. She has been awarded numerous honors, including induction into James Beard Cookbook Hall of Fame. We are indebted to Anne’s contributions and simply love her vibrant sense of fun! Join us in welcoming Anne to DC.
