Tickets to the Ryerson Entertainment Conference 2020 (#REC20) are now available!

#REC20 is a two-day conference that will feature an experience unlike any other. The conference will include industry-leading speakers, networking events, an art installation and an opportunity for each delegate to create their own unique experience through a curation of workshops. We believe in creating value for all our partners and most importantly delivering the most relevant and unique content for our delegates. Our hope is to empower a generation of creative professionals from a variety of academic fields to expand their horizons to pursue a career in the Entertainment Industry.

FAQs

• What is the difference between Day 1 and Day 2 tickets?

Day 1 will contain our special topic break out sessions and exclusive workshops lead by the Miami Ad School team all taking place at the Miami Ad School Toronto headquarters.

Day 2 will contain our four main panels, an exclusive sponsor expo, and access to our student run installation, all taking place at the Globe and Mail Centre.

• What are the benefits of buying a ticket?

Depending on which ticket tier you purchase, generally a ticket provides exclusive access to the 2 day conference including keynotes, panels, expo and installation. To learn more about ticket perks and benefits, please visit rectoronto.ca/tickets.

• Where will the conference take place?

The first day of the conference, February 29th, will take place at Miami Ad School Toronto, 639 Queen St W 3rd floor, Toronto, ON M5V 2B7.

The second day of the conference, March 1st, will take place at The Globe and Mail Centre, 351 King St E #1600, Toronto, ON M5A 0N1

• Is this conference only open to Ryerson University students?

No. Tickets are available to any student in a post-secondary institution in Canada which includes universities or colleges. The external delegate fee is $80 for Day 1 and Day 2 and $50 for just Day 2

• Is this conference only open to post-secondary students?

Yes. This conference is only open to post-secondary students.

• Will hotel accommodations be provided?

No. There are no hotel accommodations for this conference.

• Do I have to be 19+ to buy a ticket?

No. However, if alcohol is present, government issued ID will be required.

• Is there an application process?

No. Once you buy a ticket, you are now a delegate of the Ryerson Entertainment Conference. See you there!

• How can my other needs be accommodated?

Please indicate during your ticket purchase any accommodations that you believe may be required. The venue is wheelchair accessible and we will accommodate further requests. If you have a concern about a specific accommodation before purchasing a ticket, please email info@rectoronto.ca.

• Is it possible to receive a refund after purchasing a ticket?

Sorry, no refunds will take place.

• What is the limit to amount of tickets I can purchase? Can I place a bulk order?

There is a limit of 1 ticket per order. If bulk orders need to be placed, please email info@rectoronto.ca so that we can see if we can accommodate your request.
