Rec Room | An Evening of Carols

Join us for a heartfelt festive evening as we bring the community together for mulled wine, mince pies, beer & a selection of seasonal treats, all set to the beautiful sound of Christmas carols performed by the Saddleworth Male Voice Choir. This special event is being held in quiet tribute to Emma, the much-loved owner of Reclamation Room, with funds being raised in her name in a gentle & respectful way. While her legacy continues to shape this space, the focus of the evening is on togetherness, music & the spirit of giving.

Tickets are pay-what-you-can, making the event accessible to everyone. All ticket profits will go directly to charity, ensuring every contribution — big or small — makes a meaningful difference.

This will be a standing event, with only very limited seating available on a first-come, first-served basis. We want to make this absolutely clear, as it’s not our usual setup. The aim is to create an open, communal atmosphere where guests can gather, sing along, mingle & move freely throughout the evening. We encourage everyone to arrive with this in mind.

The Saddleworth Male Voice Choir will be performing a full carol concert, filling the room with festive harmony & warmth. Alongside the music, we’ll be serving mulled wine, beers & a range of Christmas treats to keep spirits high & hands warm. It’s an opportunity to pause, lift our voices, share a moment with friends & neighbours, & support something truly meaningful in the process.

We will also have donation buckets available on the night. If you — or anyone you know — aren’t able to make it but would still like to contribute, we’re very happy to accept donations ahead of time & add them to the total raised. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps us honour Emma in a way that reflects the warmth & community she brought to this place.
