Description
Rebirth of Rabbit’s Foot is a traveling Vaudeville Hip-Hop show based off-Broadway. Inspired by early 20th century pioneers — Marx Brothers, Charlie Chaplin, and Pat Chappelle’s Rabbit’s Foot Company — and contemporary sensations like The Muppets and Netflix’s Dear White People — In each performance, you’ll see original music, raps, dance, and comedy in tandem with the story of staying true to your roots as an artist of color in the 21st century.

Show Info:
In Rebirth of Rabbit’s Foot, three young artists —Jay, Ray, and Ted— fed up with the vicious audition cycle for unoriginal content, create their own variety show to showcase their talents with their friends. Along the way, they encounter other surreal characters trying to make it in the city, producers hellbent on co-opting the next best thing for their own interests, and the magical nutcracker — the legendary magical alcoholic potion. As they find success along the theater circuit, they must navigate between their integrity and their paychecks.
Performance History:
The show has performed recently in "Boom Chicago" in Amsterdam, Netherlands as well as Los Angeles, San Diego, and New York City. Such venues in NYC include Funkadelic Studios, Howl Happening, Under Saint Marks, Parkside Lounge Speakeasy, Duplex Piano Bar and Off Broadway’s Cabaret Feinstein's/54 Below. The show currently is on its 2nd year as a Residency at The People’s Improv Theater (The PIT) every third Monday of every month in New York City. In 2020, they will begin to tour staring in April in Los Angeles make their way to the famous comedy house, Second City Hollywood, followed by Denver and Cape Cod. More info later!
