Amidst these times we understand the importance of art and how it feeds the soul, so the team of Rebel One Twenty has been able to partner with legendary independent open mic/art formats Radiant Shade & Songwriter Sunday to celebrate creatives and to highlight their amazing gifts live at Sour Mouse. This is a more than just an event it's something for the culture and community of art.
So please come join us for an amazing open mic night, which welcomes all creatives; whether your singers, rappers, poets, comedians, dancers and more.
Open Mic Rules
First come first serve, meaning no one can sign up prior to their arrival, so make sure you arrive early.
No slot picking, we go in order.
One Song / One Piece (5 Minute Limit, which is not interchangeable with doing more pieces or songs in that time span, let everyone shine equally)
You have the options of performing acapella, with the band, or with your music (performance tracks or instrumentals only please)
If you're performing with your track, make sure it has performer name and song (ex. Artist Name - Song Title).
Once you've signed up at the venue please email your performance tracks: rebelonetwenty@gmail.com
Most importantly respect everyone as you'd like to be respected yourself.
*IMPORTANT*
Bring your face coverings (entry will not be permitted if you don’t have any)
Be prepared to practice safe social distancing, the venue will have organized seating arrangements to allow this to be possible.
We provide temperature checks before allowing entry into venue.
We provide disposable microphone covers to each performer.
We wipe down and sanitize the microphone after each individual performer.
Face masks must be worn by everyone who isn't seated.
Arriving early and on time is very important, because once we reach capacity, some will have to wait outside until more space free's up for more entry.
