Introduction

The Realtime Framework helps developers leverage standards such as websockets while providing a cloud-based one-to-one/one-to-many/many-to-many messaging system which provides very high performance and low latency all around the globe. With the added capability of supporting up to an unlimited amount of concurrent connections/users and offering a very strong security layer, The Realtime Framework sets itself to be the tool for developers to build the next-generation real-time applications.

Either your user's browser supports HTML5 websockets or not, you can be sure that Realtime will work, since the framework verifies and uses the best message transport available for the browser transparently, so you don't have to worry about it. Besides JavaScript, the Realtime Framework also provides you with APIs for server-side and native mobile languages: ASP.net, Java, ActionScript, iOS, Android, Node.js, Silverlight and Windows Phone, with more to come.

About this Session

After our first webinar, in which we covered the basics of the Realtime Framework, we are going to take a look at channels - what they are and how they work as well as how to secure your application, which is a major concern for any serious developer, but shouldn't be a nightmare to implement.

Once this session ends, you will know how channels work together with the security layer to provide you full control over your application's data flow and how to prevent data injection or hijacking.

Start right away and win cool prizes!

Realtime offers a FREE (limited) license for you to use on your projects so you can continue developing and exploring the framework and Realtime after the session ends.

Realtime is also having a xRTML 3.0 contest where you can build your apps, show them to the world and win cool prizes. Check it out at http://contest.xrtml.org!
