Donnell Williams
Broker/Owner Destiny Realty and President, National Association of Real Estate Brokers (NAREB)
Donnell Williams, broker of record and owner of Destiny Realty, headquartered in Morristown, New Jersey with a branch office in Newark serves as the President of the National Association of Real Estate Brokers (N.A.R.E.B.). Destiny Realty is one of the largest African-American independently owned real estate brokerages in the State of New Jersey.
A long-time member of NAREB, Mr. Williams has been actively involved in the trade association’s efforts to promote the meaningful exchange of ideas about the real estate business and how to best serve its clientele. His leadership skills positioned him as a regional vice president where he encouraged professional development and increased knowledge and creativity in the industry.
Donnell holds membership on the Board of Adjustments for Morris Township, and a member of the United Developers Council. Additionally, Mr. Williams, a real estate licensee since 1992 and licensed broker since 2001 holds certifications as a real estate manager, housing counselor and real estate ambassador. He currently serves as a Chairman of the Board of the New Jersey Association of Minority Real Estate Professionals and Executive Director of the Black Real Estate Professionals Foundation.
Donnell’s community and civic involvements include active membership as Grand Master of Most Worshipful Oriental Grand Lodge, a past member of Morris County Minority Concerns Advisory Committee, and an NAACP Silver Level Lifetime member.
Steven Cooper
Steve is a Senior Mortgage Banker at American Financial Network, who is responsible for originating mortgage loans in New Jersey. He has been in the mortgage industry since 1993. During his career, he has progressed from Loan Officer to Sales Manager to Branch Manager with various mortgage banking firms.
These experiences have allowed Steven to serve as a valuable resource to his clients, as well as real estate and financial professionals. He specializes in home purchases and refinances for those seeking better terms with their existing home mortgage.
Steven prides himself on educating first time homebuyers on the nuances of the mortgage application process. Additionally, his professionalism and sense of urgency affords move-up buyers and refinance clients an outstanding mortgage experience. He is trained and certified as a FHA 203K rehabilitation loan specialist since 1999. In 2008, he was awarded the “Mortgage Professional of the Year” by the National Association of Real Estate Brokers. 100% of his clients are derived from past clients and real estate professionals.
Professionally, he maintains a level of expertise and knowledge that afford his clients the opportunity to secure the best mortgage program that meets their needs. Steven is a student of the profession, attending numerous conferences and seminars to stay at the cutting edge of this very fast-paced industry. He has a reputation as a lender with integrity and getting to the closing on or before the scheduled settlement date.
Personally, Steve presently serves or has served on various Business, Educational, Community-Based and Faith-Based Board of Directors. He loves to mentor inner city youth and young adults and is an avid skier. Steve received a BS in Commerce from Rider University and attended Fairleigh Dickinson University where he studied in their Masters of Business Administration program. He has one daughter, Chelsea, who is employed in the financial services industry.
