Speaker: Adam Schramek, partner at Norton Rose Fulbright US LLP

This CLE will analyze Texas law on force majeure and how it applies to real estate disputes related to the Covid-19 pandemic.  From commercial leases to corporate transactions involving real estate holdings, the pandemic has wreaked havoc on many businesses and business plans.  Across the country, office buildings stand vacant, retail tenants struggle to survive, and restaurants are forced to close.  Find out the role force majeure might play in various real estate contexts.
