Real Dads Club Meetings (Man.) 2013-14
New York, NY
The Real Dads Club Meetings are co-hosted by Real Dads Network and The Children's Aid Society. These meetings are designed for fathers who want to be more involved in the parenting of their children, to develop more effective parenting skills and those who are willing to share fatherhood successes and frustrations to help each other.
The Real Dads Club is an opportunity for fathers to support, encourage and learn from other fathers. Paricipants embrace their role and rights as a parent, and understand their responsibility to raise healthy and strong children with skills to lead productive lives and relationships.
Interactive meetings will include discussions, commercial and documentary film analysis, expert presentations, dialogs with Life Coaches, fatherhood problem-solving strategies, conversations with Everyday Heroes, and locating other fatherhood resources.
Attend, participate and discover ways to strengthen the Real Dad in you!
Please pre-register so that we know you will be attending. Tell other fathers about participating in the Real Dads Club.

Real Dads Network
The Real Dads Network is an organization of dads, father figures, male role models and others committed to strengthening the institution of Fatherhood by connecting men with resources designed to empower them to be "Real Dads:" present, providers, protectors and peacemakers.
Our mission is to encourage fathers to be fully involved in the well-being of their child's life. In addition, we want to promote and celebrate those fathers who are actively involved. We also advocate for shared parenting regardless of the living or marital situation.
The Real Dads Network engages in and sponsors a variety of activities: daddy-daughter valentine's dance, Fathers' Week celebrations, skill-building workshops, informational seminars, male mentoring, networking, community and school based partnerships, advocacy, etc., designed to educate and encourage men to embrace their roles as dads, husbands and leaders in the context of family and community life.
