About this event
Ready to Run: Build Systems That Let You Grow Without the Chaos
Join us online for a practical, supportive session designed to help small business owners know what they need to upgrade their systems and reclaim control. We’ll explore CRM clarity, backend workflows, and the infrastructure you need to grow without chaos or burnout. Perfect for anyone who’s tired of duct-taping their business together and ready to run with confidence.
What Is This Workshop About?
This workshop is about upgrading the systems behind your business so you can grow without feeling like you're constantly catching up. It’s for founders who’ve outgrown the duct-tape stage — who know they need structure but don’t want to lose the soul of what they’ve built. We’ll focus on CRM clarity and backend workflows that support your time, your energy, and your customer experience.
If you’ve ever thought, “I want to grow, but I can’t even handle what I’ve got,” or “I’m scared success will mean even less time with my family,” - this is for you.
Who Is This For?
Small business owners, solo founders, and micro teams who are tired of winging it. You’re not lazy or disorganised , you’ve just been doing everything yourself, and now you’re ready for systems that support you. This session is especially for those who want to grow sustainably (and out of relying on Excel and sticky notes), without sacrificing health, relationships, or autonomy.

What to Expect?
It is live and you will have the chance to ask questions throughout and at the end. There will be slides, but it's not death by Powerpoint. It's a practical, supportive session with knowledge from a seasoned Sales Operations professional that is tech-agnostic. You and your business are what is important. You’ll be safe to ask the questions that you don't feel comfortable asking in certain audiences. There's no hard sell at the end, or a 35 minute intro at the beginning.
What Will You Leave With?
- A CRM audit checklist to diagnose gaps and opportunities
- Clarity on what systems you actually need (and what you don’t)
- A recording of the session to revisit anytime
Who Is Your Speaker/Trainer?
That would be me, Charlene Thompson.
I have over 15 years of Sales and Revenue Operations experience in 6-9 figure businesses, across industries. This includes creating and scaling sales processes, making sure that departments interact with each other appropriately, and choosing and implementing the right systems at the right time to support the business needs.
In a small business, this looks like leveling up from sticky notes, calendar tasks, and complicated Excel sheets to a system with automated actions, data collection that's ready for analysis telling you your business forecast to avoid feast and famine, and having more time to do the parts of your job you enjoy, which isn't usually the behind the scenes fiddly bit. Or if any of that doesn't cut it for you - the ability to take some time off knowing that nothing will be forgotten.
