Ready Party One: 8 Bit Legacy, SDCC Kick Off Party!

Get ready to dive back into the OASIS for Ready Party One, the signature San Diego Comic-Con kick-off party and Night 1 of Party HQ Comic Con at Parq Nightclub. This year, we travel to the Mushroom Kingdom planet, where the 8-bit legacy adventures of Zelda, Mega Man, Metroid, and more run rampant - but of course the star of the show is everybody's favorite mushroom-smashing plumber.

Journey with Parzival into this world celebrating video game legacy and all things Mario - from his humble beginnings as Jumpman in Donkey Kong to his evolution through the 8-bit years of the N.E.S, his 16-bit Super Nintendo years, to his jump to 3D in Mario 64.

The immersive decor will make you feel like you're visiting a ba-bomb battlefield, and themed drinks will keep the party going all night long. Check out the gaming lounge to get all your favorite 8-bit moves in, accompanied by a live DJ. Can you beat Parzival’s score?

Travel through the warp tunnel to the main dance floor, avoiding those banana peels, and get treated to an incredible 80’s set from world-famous flashback band The Flux Capacitors, as well as killer DJ sets by DJ Elliot and DJ Atomic Blonde. Keep an eye out for special guest performances that'll take you on a journey through the best of Mario's adventures. Watch out for a special performance by Violet on the Rocks as everyone’s favorite fruity princess.

VIP Table reservations available to flaunt that Leaderboard status and give your friends a time they'll never forget. Purchasing a table gets you the rights to the table from us but you must also hit a minimum spend at the table w/ the venue's service people which is an additional charge upon arrival. For the 6 Highline tables in the rear of the club it is a $500 minimum spend (this is roughly one bottle plus some additional drinks). For the 8 dance floor tables, it is a $750 minimum spend (roughly 2 bottles). These table purchases comes with 1 VIP ticket. Pro-tip: don't let your friends order from the bar, order from service people to hit your minimum faster.

DRESS CODE: There is no formal dress code, but we challenge you to embrace your OASIS avatar look - especially one inspired by the world of 8-bit video games. Let your inner creativity out and become part of the fun!
