Join Placemaking Emirates in collaboration with Urban Sketchers Dubai for the first edition of Reading the City - a series of walks that explore how we see, feel, and interpret urban spaces.

In this session at Jaddaf Waterfront, we’ll observe the city through both lines and conversations: walking together, sketching what we see, and pausing to reflect on how spaces shape our perception of place.

No fancy tools or prior experience required, just your sketchbook, pen, and curiosity.

What to Expect:

A guided group walk exploring Jaddaf Waterfront’s architecture, waterfront views, and evolving landscape.
Short pauses for open sketching and collective reflection.
Informal discussions on placemaking, urban/historical context of Jaddaf, and the art of seeing.
