Event description

Description

We are excited to announce that we forming another reading and study group to read and discuss this incredibly rich book together. The group has formed but there are a few openings - Meeting dates are: May 4, May 18, June 1, June 29 and the last 2 TBD by the group to ensure the most attendees. All groups are 1:30-2:45 CST. If you miss one you will get the recording, no problem and can send in questions and comments for us to include.

Many people want to keep up to date and read original source material but find it overwhelming and hard to finish all the good books we want to absorb. We've chosen this book, Attachment Disturbances in Adults Treatment for Comprehensive Repair by Daniel Brown and David Elliott, because it's new and updated, is chock-full of great summary research, and has original treatment ideas using attachment and psychotherapy as a base.

This 6 session reading group will focus on the new clinical aspects of the book starting at Chapter 6 and will be professionally facilitated by Sue Marriott, co-host of Therapist Uncensored Podcast. Sue has lead therapist study groups in person for decades and is the co-founder of AINC and Therapist Uncensored podcast.

You will get over 8 hours of live professionally-facilitated interaction with the leader and participants (perhaps if like last time, from around the globe!) around the material, plus you will most likely read more of the book than you would have otherwise AND you will certainly understand it much more fully with guided discussion among like-minded peers. Sue also adds well-rounded input from the attachment, IPNB and trauma fields and works to make this material as clinically useful as possible.

Space is limited, so be sure and sign up today! (Sessions will be recorded and provided to participants in case you miss or would like to review.) Purchase of the book is of course required for participation.

MEETING CALENDAR - Roughtly every other Friday 1:30-2:45 CST starting May 4. Payment is for full series (sorry, no refunds for missed sessions, but they will be recorded and you can view them at your convenience and will get detailed notes for each chapter).
