Description

Reading for change Knowledge is the key to success

Research has shown that reading improves cognitive abilities such as vocabulary knowledge reasoning and problem solving abilities that boost brain memory and power.

Malcolm X said that if you want to hide something from black people, put it in a book.

Read for change therefore aims at promoting literacy among the youth carried out through our monthly events; book review, library subscription and reading and writing clubs

It brings together authors, bookaholics, poets, publishers, and librarians every first Saturday of the month.

Most people don't read because of their tight schedules. Afflatus Africa came up with a solution to this problem.

"#40min For Reading Campain"

1Day = 1440min. We encourage people to dedicate 1400min exclusively for your schedules and leave a life-changing 40min exclusively for reading. We encourage everyone to use this hashtag #40min on social media to share what you learn from reading to encourage others. Don't forget to tag @AfflatusAfrica on Twitter, Linkedln, Instagram, and Facebook.

Cheers,

Afflatus Africa Team.
