We are doing another book event (it’s been a while). On December 13th we will have a discussion of Dr.Barbara Ransby’s book, Ella Baker and the Black Freedom Movement: A Radical Democratic Vision. Civil Bikes tours are inspired by the life, activism, and commitment to liberation and democracy expressed in the life and work of Ella Baker. Her leadership style is worthy of reflection.
