Event description

Description

If you're struggling to engage with certain populations: rural, transgender, Black, Latinx, HIV+, high-risk negative (HRN), or men who have sex with men (MSM), bring your lunch (and a colleague), and join us for this 1.5 hour-long lunch and learn at the library! We will discuss the salient characteristics of these communities, and identify the common reasons folks are often reluctant, resistant, or otherwise disengaged from care. We'll also explore current trends and best practices for establishing and maintaining positive relationships.

One (1) CSWMFT Board approved CEU is available at no cost. To learn more, please visit https://www.thefrederickcenter.com/lunch.html, email info@thefrederickcenter.com, or call 740-517-6997.

Photography: Please note that photographs/video taken of the activities and participants may be used on our website and/or marketing assets. You will be asked to sign a photo release. If you don't want to be recognizable, please take a green sash at the beginning of the workshop.
