Event description

Description

The effects of trauma on a person’s life are extensive and long lasting. They include chronic pain, PTSD, anxiety, depression, unemployment or underemployment, self-abuse, eating disorders, self-doubt, abusive relationships, and more.

These effects lead to a diminished sense of self, contributing to powerlessness, low self-worth, and isolation.

Learn how to use Michael White’s Re-Authoring Map to re-connect your clients who have lived through even significant and recurrent trauma to a robust sense of self, and thus decreasing the effects the trauma. In this experiential second workshop in a series, you’ll…

- Learn about trauma's effect on identity and isolation.

- Learn how to find traces into the alternate and preferred story how to develop the story so a client has access to it.

- Learn how to connect a person with what they give value to, their hopes, dreams, purposed, commitments and motives that make up who they are.

- Practice the interviewing skills.
