Description

This unique Exhibtion takes a personal look at a traditional Children's Classic. The original Mother Goose is the imaginary author of a collection of fairy tales and nursey rhymes. The so-called "Mother Goose" rhymes and stories. Mother Gooses's Melody or Sonnets for the Cradle refers to a traditional view of how children's literature is presented from a young age. Often childrens illustration tends to reflect a narrow section of society.

The exhibiton showcases a diverse and multicural Mother Goose with Children from mixed race heritage and immigrant communities in South East London based on the artist family and friends.

The Exhibiton is held at the Deptford Lounge and open to all. Entrance is Free!

Opens daily - 8am and Close 10pm- Monday to Friday.

Saturday 9am - 5pm

Sunday 10am - 4pm

Prints and Original Art work will be on sale.
