Overview

Let's wrap up the year with engaging discussions and fresh perspectives on mental health research at our EMCR event!

The Australasian Society for Bipolar & Depressive Disorders (ASBDD) is excited to invite you to a special end-of-year gathering designed for the early- and mid-career researcher community in bipolar and depressive disorder research.

Date: 4th December 2025
Time: 4pm-7pm
Location: Upper East Dining Room, University House, 53 Professors Rd

Join us for an open dialogue between Early and Mid-Career Researchers (EMCRs) and senior mental health researchers on goal setting, turning connections into collaborations, and professional development.

We will be joined by:

  • Professor Malcolm Hopwood
  • Professor Sue Cotton

Networking will take centre stage, with plenty of time to engage with colleagues over canapes. Plus, don’t miss our professional headshot station– a great way to update your professional profile and boost your visibility!

Develop your professional profile and career

Plan ahead for 2026 with fresh insights and collaborations
