Description

Clinic, Lunch, Presentation, Silent Auction

Please join us for a clinic by *David Worley, demonstrating horsemanship and riding skills that are vital to safe and enjoyable trail riding such as achieving good communication with your horse for independent movement of each of the horse's body parts, forward, backward and sideways in the head and neck, shoulders, ribs and hind quarter, speed and direction control at all gaits, gait transitions, & solid stops. The clinic will be followed by lunch. We will have a silent auction with many wonderful baskets and gifts to bid on, in addition to information on our current trail progress. We will be presenting our “Friend of RCHA” award to the Temecula Mounted Posse.

You won’t want to miss this great event so get your tickets as soon as possible. Last day to purchase tickets is January 25th. Tickets will not be sold at the door as we need to know how many will be in attendance.

*David Worley was raised in Eastern Kentucky where his passion for horses started at a young age with his family owned trail horses. Growing up he learned the basics of horsemanship, caring and tending to horses. David later on enrolled at Murray State University where he received his bachelors in equine science. While in college he joined the equestrian team and became captain. During this time he found his love for reining, what interested him the most about the sport was how intricate the maneuvers are. Also, it was the subtle cues between both the horse and rider to achieve the big maneuvers and fast to slow transitions that interested him. After college David followed his passion and began working as an assistant for two NRHA and AQHA world champions who he learned the ins and outs of training Reiners. Once he felt like it was time to start his own program he pursued his dreams when he was offered a head trainer position at a well established Reining barn in Colorado. He operated his business there for four years starting two-year-olds, coaching non-pros, showing, and even competing at the NRHA Futurity. As of Aug 2017, David moved his business to Temecula where he is leasing a well-equipped training facility to be closer to more shows, easier accessibility to the major events, and better weather for training all year around.
