This new training is available for graduates of the CCAR Recovery Coach Academy and anyone wishing to become a Recovery Coach. It has been designed to enhance Recovery Coaching skills and builds a level of professionalism to guide work with Recoverees. 6 CEUs have been approved. This training will cover:

9:30 – 10:00 Trauma: Issues, Adverse Childhood Experiences, & Informed Care
10:00 – 10:15 BREAK
10:15 – 10:45 Addiction & Recovery – Language Matters

10:45 – 11:15 Understanding Recovery & Recovery Culture
11:15 – 11:45 Drug Classes: Opiates, Marijuana, Synthetics, Stimulants
11:45 – 12:45 LUNCH
12:45 – 1:15 Cultural Competency– Multiculturalism and LGBTQ
1:15 – 1:45 Special Considerations in a Rural, Mostly Homogeneous Region

Amy Reynelli is a licensed clinical mental health counselor and master licensed substance use clinician practicing in Keene and Peterborough. She has over 15 years experience in the field as an educator, practitioner and supervisor. Amy brings compassion and support to her work with clients as they explore how to become more imperfectly human, develop internal resiliency, and find universal truths.
