Event description

Description

This experience will open a world of possibilities for teaching with Raspberry Pi, the world's cheapest and smallest computer, and show you how physical computing can transform STEM education in the classroom.

No technical background is required for this workshop; it is designed to be an entirely hands-on introduction. Our workshop will equip you with basic skills in coding an industry language, Python, and real-world applications with Raspberry Pi that you can teach in a classroom. By the end, you will be ready to prepare your students for the high-tech future and show them how robotics, automation, and computer science come together!

With the purchase of your ticket, you will receive your own QPi Robot Kit (includes Raspberry Pi 3) with sample curriculum materials (NGSS-aligned) and build instructions to learn, code, and build during the workshop! We will walk you through Python coding syntax, how to use the Raspberry Pi, building and programming an LED circuit, and ultimately building and programming a robot car to drive.

Visit our website and if you want more details, please join our free information session here.
