CEO, Life Model Works - What is the Life Model
Jim Martini is passionate about equipping a contagious body of Christ that can change the world. Jim has known Dr. Jim Wilder for almost 30 years. Prior to his role as CEO, Jim served for 8 years on the Life Model Works Board of Directors. One of Jim’s first Im-anuel moments was a time when he was discerning his vocation as a young man. Despite his heart for evangelism and missions, he heard a clear call from God to marry, have children and support God’s people through a business career. Jim has been married to Michele for 31 years and they have 2 children.
Becoming a Rare Leader
Dana and Nancy Hanson have been married 29 years and reside in Winnetka, CA. They have three adult children, Kristina (Sean) Herman and daughters Kaylee & Elise, and twin sons, Gregory and David.
Dana has been a pastor at LIFEhouse Church for 33 years, serving as senior pastor since 1996.
Dana was a personal student and friend of Dallas Willard for over 12 years, and is author of Reboot: 70 Life Lessons with Dallas Willard (Good Son Books, Anaheim, 2015). Dana is also the creator of the How To Be A Christian Without Being A Jerk! series, endorsed by Dallas, a veteran blogger (danahanson.org, grandpablogger.com), and has worked with Faithinkubators in parenting and the faith/ science field, and 3DM in discipleship training.
Lessons in Planting a Life Giving, Multi-Cultural Church
Anna Kang and her husband Louis are church planters in downtown Los Angeles, CA. They have 3 spirited children Elijah, Eisley and Ella. Anna is passionate about growing and transforming into a mature Christ follower. She is compassionate to those who struggle with brokenness and desires to share her journey to help others experience the reality of God’s Immanuel presence. Anna holds Masters Degrees from Fuller Theological Seminary in Theology and in Marriage and Family Therapy and has co-written a book titled Joyful Journey.
Louis Kang was born and raised in Canada, Montreal particularly. In the summer of 1995, he met Jesus radically and since then has been called to serve God’s church. He graduated from Loyola HS, McGill University, Fuller Seminary, and the School of Hard Knocks. He is a daddy, AYSO soccer coach, professor, hubby and weekend warrior extraordinaire. He is married to Anna Sin (yes, he married sin), on February 14th, 2004 and has three crazy, splendid, rambunctious amazing children: Elijah, Eisley and Ella.

Dr. David Levy is Clinical Professor of Neurosurgery at University of California, San Diego. Dr. Levy is a neurosurgeon who specializes in the treatment of brain aneurysms and other diseases of the blood vessels of the brain, including stroke. He attended Medical School at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia and obtained his Neurosurgical Training at the Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix, Arizona. He did a Fellowship in Endovascular Neurosurgery at the University of Vienna, Austria.
Dr. Levy has published numerous scientific articles in the neurosurgical literature and wrote the book Gray Matter: a neurosurgeon discovers the power of prayer…one patient at a time, published by Tyndale House, detailing the dramatic intersection of medicine and faith, and the power of forgiveness. The book has been translated into the French and Romanian languages.
Dr. Levy has been the recipient of the Best Doctor Award in 2007 – 2014 and America’s Top Surgeons Award 2015. His pastimes include caring for the poor and less fortunate around the world. His most recent trips have been to Africa, where he performed neurosurgery both in a land-based hospital in Kenya and on The Mercy Ship in Congo.

Shelia’s 24 years of teaching and consulting interests focus on the relational aspect of education and form the basis of her work, preparing teachers for National Board Certification. She has conducted a wide range of professional development workshops throughout the Los Angeles area since 1996. At the heart of Shelia’s work is her dedication to inspire teachers to create classrooms and instructional practices that promote and foster overall student wellbeing, learning, and success.
Shelia’s interests include propagating joy through mutual bonding and attachment; brain functioning and its impact on relationship to self and others; maturity and individuation; trauma resolution through Immanuel prayer practices; empathic attunement as an artistic life skill; and writing and story-telling as paths to deeper healing and connection to others.

John Loppnow is in charge of pastoral care at Young Nak Celebration Church in Los Angeles, CA. Pastor John has the passion to equip people to be formed into Christ-likeness by knowing and doing God’s will with exercises that integrate biblical knowledge with brain science. Sungshim Loppnow was born and raised in Korea and was able to complete her studies at Fuller Theological Seminary and became a licensed marriage and family therapist. Sungshim continues to be a devoted mother and of late has been enjoying how God is using all her talents to equip people to live the healing lifestyle. She currently has her own private practice in La Canada, California.

Kent and Cathy Larson have been involved in ministry for nearly 40 years. Youth ministry, inner city ministry, missions, children, inner healing, pastoral counseling, worship and intercession. They have been associate pastors at Vineyard Community Church in Laguna Niguel, California since 2000. They are both certified LifeModel Works/Thrive trainers and they lead seminars and teach classes throughout the year related to Thrive, Joy Starts Here and Immanuel Prayer and Lifestyle.
