Aloha,

The Rapid ʻŌhiʻa Death Working Group invites you to join us for a morning of updates on the latest ROD research, management, and outreach actions on Saturday, March 18th at the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo. Presentations will be followed by a question and answer session. Talks will include: Rapid ʻŌhiʻa Death discovery timeline, its origins, how the fungus spreads, wood treatment research, forest effects, management actions, and community outreach and engagement.

Hawaiʻi County Mayor Harry Kim will provide a welcome and introduction. Snacks and refreshments will be available through generous donations from local businesses.

The Symposium is being offered as a free public event. However, space is limited, so we ask that you register to reserve a spot.
