About this event
There has been a MAJOR change in NYC public Kindergarten admissions. For 2023, families will rank General Education and Gifted & Talented schools on the same form. This means fewer choices for both, and parents needing to list G&T schools before they know whether or not their child has qualified for the program. This makes every choice matter far more than it has in the past.
Join Alina Adams, author of "Getting Into NYC Kindergarten," for an hour long workshop where we will take you step by step through the ranking process, and explain how to maximize your odds of getting your child into the Kindergarten of your dreams. We will also cover entry into 1st through 3rd grade G&T programs.
Although this will be an on-line Zoom event, in order to make sure that everyone has the chance to ask their questions, space is extremely limited.
All who register will receive a Zoom link about 15 minutes prior to the start of the workshop.
