Description

Ramadan is a time when the principles of generosity and hospitality become especially important. Ramadan is the month of fasting, developing self-control and kindness, a time of comprehensive thanksgiving and charity. It's a time of training oneself to become a better person spiritually and improving relationships with family, friends and neighbors.

In this regard, Turkish Cultural Center cordially requests the pleasure of your presence at the Ramadan Iftar Dinner on Saturday, June 10.

We kindly invite you and your guests to share the traditions of breaking the bread around a table for long lasting friendship, appreciation for diversity, celebrating harmony and peace in the world.

We will also have a guest speaker, Chaplain Imam Ahmet Muharrem Atlig, PhD, Secretary General of Journalist And Writers Foundation in New York (The Journalists and Writers foundation is a member of United Nations Economic and Social Council General Consultative Status.) and Muslim Chaplain at Manhattan Veteran Hospital, New York.

RSVP is required. info@tccnh.org
