Description

Rally to End Chronic Disease

The consequences of chronic disease are severe. It’s destroying our quality of life, shortening our lifespans, bankrupting our governments, and threatening the health of future generations.

Chronic disease is by far the biggest challenge we face.

The good news is that there’s already something we can do about it. If ...

  • You are as passionate as I am about ending chronic illness,

  • You want to be part of the revolution to reinvent healthcare,

  • You want to make sure your kids and grandkids have better options,

... here’s how you can join me in my mission to end chronic illness.

I’m bringing together five luminaries in the field of Functional Medicine—people who have dedicated themselves to helping people with chronic illness. Together we are holding a live TED-style eventa rally to formally launch this revolution.

We need more people to join the movement to revolutionize healthcare. If …

  • You’re a practitioner, we need you on the front lines using Functional Medicine, an ancestral diet and lifestyle, and collaborative practice model to transform your patients’ lives.
  • You’re not yet a practitioner, but you’re thinking of becoming one, join the fight! There’s a place for you, whatever your background and goals.
  • You’re a “citizen scientist” and health enthusiast, we need you too. You can help spread the word and be an evangelist for the cause.

Speakers

  • Mark Hyman, MD: Director of Cleveland Clinic Center for Functional Medicine and 10-time NYT best-selling author

  • Robb Wolf: world-renowned authority on ancestral diet and lifestyle and two-time NYT best-selling author

  • Sara Gottfried, MD: expert in genetics, epigenetics, and Functional Medicine and three-time NYT best-selling author

  • Rangan Chatterjee, MD: BBC television’s Doctor in the House and author of The Four Pillar Plan—a rare U.S. appearance!

  • Yours truly!

In addition to TED-style talks by the speakers above, the event will feature farm-to-table cuisine by local caterer A Fork Full of Earth, Paleo-friendly wine from Dry Farm Wines, a book signing and reception, and an exclusive VIP dinner with all of the speakers above. Other movers and shakers in the movement will be in attendance, and the energy will be high!

Event Schedule

  • 5:00–6:00: Book signing, hors d'oeuvres, Dry Farm Wines, and reception in the Hazel Wolf Gallery

  • 6:00–7:15: TED-style talks with Mark Hyman, Robb Wolf, Sara Gottfried, Rangan Chatterjee, and Chris Kresser

  • 7:30–9:30: VIP dinner with the speakers, farm-to-table small plates, and Dry Farm Wines

P.S. We’ve decided to time the rally to coincide with the launch of my new book, which is itself a rallying cry to end chronic disease. It’s called Unconventional Medicine: Join the Revolution to Reinvent Healthcare, Reverse Chronic Disease, and Create a Practice You Love, and it’s available on November 7th.
