All Providence Health and Services Sterile Processing, Operating Room, and GI / Endoscopy staff members.
Upon completion of this activity, participants will earn 5.0 Continuing Education Credit Hours* and be able to:
Describe design considerations related to power equipment, rigid endoscopes, flexible endoscopes, stainless steel and insulated laparoscopic equipment, that impact PATIENT safety, operation, maintenance, repair and budgetary requirements.
Discuss current flexible endoscope reprocessing guidelines.
Describe what can be done to minimize biofilm development on reusable medical devices.
Registration is not required to attend, however, it is highly encouraged that individuals register online prior to the event to ensure the 5.0 Credit Hour Certificates are immediately available and provided to individual attendees upon completion of the program.
All participants in the program will have the opportunity to receive 5.0 Credit Hours. Participants that do not register online, prior to the event, will be required to complete and submit additional documentation that will be provided at the conclusion of the event.
All participants will be required to fill out an attendee sign-in sheet upon arrival. Individuals that register online but do not physically attend the event, will NOT receive 5.0 Credit Hours.
Educational Dimensions is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
