Denny Slaton

Denny Slaton is the Development Coordinator for e3 Partners Ministry / I am Second, with the responsibility of raising mid-level to major gifts for the ministry.  Her focus is on raising funds for country strategies in the more than 40 countries in which the ministry serves, as well as for the 7 initiatives that serve in those countries.

These initiatives empower the poor to rise above poverty, educate about HIV/AIDS and Malaria, and reach the deaf population around the world.    Denny has worked with e3 Partners for two years.  Prior to coming to e3 Partners, she worked for 13 years at Southern Methodist University in Dallas.  She worked in the office of the Vice President of Development during the most successful capital campaign in North Texas history.

After traveling to Africa in 2007 to work with AIDS orphans, she chose to leave the university setting to raise funds on behalf of the poor around the world.  Her philosophy of fundraising centers on relationship building to learn what a donor is passionate about, and directing them to the area of ministry that best fits their passion. Denny studied at the University of Oklahoma.  She has 3 adult married children, is the proud grandmother of 5!  She travels around the world with e3 Partners to share the hope of the gospel of Christ, as often as she can—usually about twice a year.
