Event description

Description

Whether your family ventures outdoors daily or annually, babies can be unpredictable… especially in unfamiliar environments.

The good news is: your baby’s first adventure into the wild doesn’t have to be chaotic or intimidating if you are prepared and confident.

From ticks and sunburn to learning to sleep in a tent and water safety, there are a lot of things to consider before taking your little ones camping, fishing, hiking, or exploring.

This class covers all the information you’ll need to introduce your new baby (or older children) to nature in ways that are both fun and safe!

Topics Include:
- Insect protection
- Protecting baby against the elements (sun, wind, heat, rain, and more)
- Plant & animal precautions
- Bedtimes in tents and/or campers
- Disposing of soiled diapers outdoors
- Emergency preparedness
- Packing baby’s overnight bag/what to bring
- Making hiking more comfortable for parent and child
- Must-have products and recommendations
- Much more!!!!

Additional Information:
- Registration is per person/1 ticket per adult
- All materials are included.
- Feel free to pump or nurse as needed.
- Registration required.
