Raised beds have many benefits for urban and suburban gardeners. Perennial cut flower, herb, and vegetable gardening in a raised bed is a successful method for increasing production. Raised beds are beneficial for water usage while assisting with pest and disease management. During this class, W.S. Jenks and Son's urban farming expert will walk you through different raised bed construction methods, and you will have the opportunity to learn from doing on Jenk's rooftop garden center.
All participants will receive a 15% discount on all building supplies and soil for constructing their own raised bed.
