You are warmly invited to the

Rainbow Pilgrims Conference: LGBTQI Migrant and Travelling Communities Perspectives.

This Symposium is to set a platform for dialogue across communities and sector, to meet and share experiences around issues of migration, identity and faith, in the UK and beyond.

The day will include panels, presentations, talks, pop-exhibitions, artwork, and multi-media. Lunch is included.

Rabbi Aaron Goldstein & panel: The Ger Toshav - the 'resident other' - in Jewish tradition and how we might usefully interpret this ancient concept in the present. A Discussion will focus on how religions and the people that practice them might use their sacred traditions to share stories as a process for progressing the position of those previously living on the periphery of society.

Fees and Bursaries:

Participation is free of charge.

A small number of (part) bursaries to cover UK travel for is available. Please enquire via rainbowpilgrims@liberaljudaism.org as soon as possible.

Light refreshements and a sandwich-style buffet lunch will be provided. Please let us know about your dietary requirements well ahead.

The Conference Hall will be signposted on the day. It is located on the Groundfloor of Building 8 (near Queen Alexander Rd.

High Wycombe is easy to get to by bus or train, with direct links into London, Birmingham, Oxford and other. If you’re coming by car, it is just a short drive from the M40, and a short stroll from the main public car parks.
