Description

The University of Chicago's Rainbow Graduation is the annual ceremony in which we honor the achievements of graduating students who identify as LGBTQIA+.

This year's intimate celebration for the Class of 2019 will be hosted on Tuesday June 11th at the William Eckhardt Research Center. Please register as either a graduating student or guest through Eventbrite by end of day May 27th.

Doors: 1:30 pm
Ceremony: 2:00 pm
Reception: 3:30 – 4:30 pm

Food will be served and business casual attire is appreciated. Graduates must be able to attend in order to receive their certificates and rainbow stoles.

Rainbow Graduation was founded by the student organization Queers & Associates. The first ceremony took place on June 5, 2008 at 5710 S. Woodlawn Ave. In 2009, the Office of LGBTQ Student Life began hosting the annual ceremonies. We look forward to celebrating the esteemed Class of 2018 with our community!
