Description

"The Rappers and Entrepreneurs" exhibit and mini film event for students, young professionals, and, most importantly, male African American community business leaders from throughout our area. This event will feature a short documentary “The Minority Report” inspired by and told by 3 entrepreneurs and a musician.

The installations displayed against exposed brick will showcase portraits of 4 men servicing the fitness, vending, barbering and music industry. In the short documentary participants speak on issues they faced and best business practices they used to overcome those obstacles.

Objective:

To engage with the African American males in the community, displaying positive imagery and stories. To introduce young African American entrepreneurs, leaders and students to each other.
