Radius Indiana's Economic Development for Community Leadership Program

Radius Indiana's Economic Development for Community Leadership program, brought to you by title sponsor, Hoosier Energy and generous support from Duke Energy, Vectren, Indiana Municipal Power Agency, Smithville Digital, and Springs Valley Bank & Trust, brings a new training program to southern Indiana to provide information about economic development policies, practices, and programs to local community leaders who want to play a role in or better understand the dynamics of local economic development responsibilities.
The two-and-a-half day course will provide 15 sessions that are an average of 90 minutes each. Each session will cover a topic that is pertinent to the day-to-day activities involved in local economic development. Some of the topics include:
Real Estate Development/Site Development
Marketing in Economic Development
Business Retention and Expansion
Business Finance Tools – Abatement, TIF, Incentives Workforce
Quality of Place
Courses will be taught by experienced economic development practitioners who know and work with Indiana economic development programs and clients.
