About Catherine Kyle -
Catherine Kyle is the author of the poetry collection Parallel (Another New Calligraphy, 2017), the poetry chapbooks Gamer: A Role-Playing Poem (dancing girl press, 2015) and Flotsam (Etched Press, 2015), and the hybrid-genre collection Feral Domesticity (Robocup Press, 2014). She also writes the monthly creative nonfiction column "Save Point" for the online journal Cartridge Lit. Her writing has been honored by the Idaho Commission on the Arts, the Alexa Rose Foundation, and other organizations, and she recently served as a writer-in-residence at the Library at Bown Crossing. She teaches literature and creative writing at the College of Western Idaho, as well as summer camps at The Cabin. She lives in Boise with her husband and two cats.

About We Are Apes
We Are Apes is a collaboration between Zack Evans, Erin Nelson, Kory Parsley, and Eric Larson of Boise, ID. The band's sound is a collision between the heaviness of doom metal and the intricacy of folk, with Nelson's soft vocals and shimmering keys contrasting Eric and heavy guitar. Evans anchors the sound with sweeping, heavy bass lines, while Parsley's intricate drumming balances the weight with moving and swift beats. We Are Apes integrates dense harmonies and droning instruments to create a layered and complex sound.

About Frankie Barnhill -
Frankie Barnhill is a reporter for Boise State Public Radio. Her work has appeared on NPR's Morning Edition and Weekend Edition. She earned her production chops at American Public Media, where she interned for Marketplace Tech Report and American RadioWorks. Frankie was also a researcher in Minnesota Public Radio's newsroom for an investigative report on bullying. As a freelance reporter in 2014, she won a grant from the City of Boise to profile five emerging artists. The project, entitled "Artist Statement," was an exploration of Boise's burgeoning artistic scene. Frankie was a fellow with the Institute for Journalism & Natural Resources in 2013 and again in 2015, where she began to hone her environmental reporting skills.
