Radical Christian Scholarship
A conference for retrieving and reinvesting in Scripture as the ground of Christian thought and life.
The unique challenges facing the Christian community in the 21st century require a radical renewal of Christian scholarship and higher education. This will involve a deep reinvestment in the tremendous intellectual and liturgical resources of the Christian faith. Key to such a renewal will be the role of the Bible. Rather than relegating it to biblical and theological studies, radical Christian scholarship treats it as a foundational and formative source of knowledge for all the disciplines, insofar as it bears on their subject matter, always seeking to interpret it according to God’s communicative intentions.
Join Kevin Vanhoozer, Esther Meek, Craig Bartholomew, Peter Leithart, Mary Poplin, C. Stephen Evans, Dru Johnson, Jonathan Pennington, Leland Ryken, John Peckham, Bruce Ashford, Todd Ream, Eric Johnson, and many others, for a conference about this project.
