Event description

Description

The sickness of racism is rooted in a compromised psyche that informs group dynamics in families, neighborhoods, and institutions. What degree of injury and repetition establishes trauma? How does healthy spirituality build a foundation for healing once trauma has occurred?

Gathering around these questions a second time, we will continue the timely discussion on understanding the psychology of racism, the nature of individual and intra-communal trauma as it relates to racism, and how we can work together as agents of healing for ourselves and in our communities.

This event will take place in Shelton Auditorium.
