Event description

Description

How does racial injustice impact our health, and how can we protect ourselves in a society where many of us are forced to confront the outcomes of racist policies and practices on a daily basis?

Join the Thriving Communities Collaborative as we explore some of the ways racism impacts our health and what we can do about it through a film screening and discussion.

We’ll use the film: UNNATURAL CAUSES: When the Bough Breaks, as a launching pad for a discussion of Racism and Trauma. The film explores birth outcomes, factoring in economics and education.

We hope you’ll join us!
