About this Event

We are inviting our Bigs to come and learn about the important topic of racial identity and how to develop tools to better understand this topic in relation to their Littles. Research has proven that stronger identities are associated with improved academics, improved social and emotional skills, and decreased likelihood of depression and substance abuse among our Littles.

This discussion and training will be lead by Ontay Johnson, the current CEO of 100 Black Men of Indianapolis. Ontay earned his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management from Northwood University as well as his Master of Public Administration Degree from Bernard M. Baruch College. Ontay is a proud alumna of the prestigious National Urban Fellows program (NUF), which develops people of color and women into leaders and change agents in the public and non-profit sectors, with a strong commitment to social justice and equity.

Snacks and beverages will be provided at this event.
