Educate to Liberate Consulting (E2LC) has come to Vegas by popular demand!
Join us for this signature 3-day professional learning series!
The lexicon of diversity, inclusion and equity have been introduced into our society as a way to address or "window dress" our nation’s historical and current endemic reality: systemic racism.
In learning from our past to bring to our present a critical racial analysis, scholar-practitioners Drs. Marion Smith, Jr. and Nikum Pon developed the R.E.A.L. (Racial Equity Adaptive Leadership) Framework to examine habits of mind and racial equity adaptive leadership moves to disrupt and dismantle inequitable systems, policies and practices.
Join Educate to Liberate Consulting (E2LC) for a three-part, experiential learning series where you will learn and apply the R.E.A.L. (Racial Equity Adaptive Leadership) Framework as an entry point to engage, to educate, and to empower. You will examine and challenge race, racism, White Supremacy and power, and incorporate Critical Race Theory (CRT) concepts to identify a core racial equity challenge in your work and name high-leverage "Call to Action" next steps.
Participants will:
- Calibrate a collective working definition and understanding of the Racial Equity Adaptive Leadership (R.E.A.L.) Framework and Critical Race Theory (CRT)
- Engage in strategies and processes to learn, unlearn and/or relearn work of anti-racist, social change (from revolution to evolution)
- Interrogate self to identify a core racial equity challenge in their work
- Develop skills and knowledge in the use of systems thinking concepts and adaptive leadership strategies to analyze complex issues and identify high leverage interventions
