Anna Bhàn at Lunga House
We are absolutely delighted to welcome Anna Bhàn, the collaborative project of Rachel Newton and Mairearad Green, to Lunga House for an intimate evening of music in our beautiful, historic surroundings.
Anna Bhàn is a stunning musical exploration of history and heritage, celebrating the story of their great-great-grandmother, Anna Bhàn, and the women-led Coigach resistance of 1852 during the Highland Clearances. Combining Rachel’s hauntingly beautiful harp and vocals with Mairearad’s masterful accordion and pipes, this project blends Gaelic and English song, storytelling, and instrumental finesse into an unforgettable performance.
This special evening promises a rich, evocative journey through Scotland’s past, brought to life through spellbinding music and powerful storytelling.
