We Share the Same Sky: A Memoir of Memory & Migration

We Share The Same Sky documents a granddaughter's decade-long journey to weave together the thin threads of her family history.

The project is an intergenerational diary of love, loss and the will to move forward in the face of uncertainty.

Rachael Cerrotti is an award-winning photographer, writer, educator and audio producer as well as the inaugural Storyteller in Residence for USC Shoah Foundation. We Share The Same Sky is her first book and tells the true story of her decade-long journey to retrace her grandmother’s war story. Rachael is an alumna of Brookline High School.

Moderator Elizabeth Rosner is the author of three acclaimed novels and a poetry collection. Her first book of non-fiction, Survivor Café: The Legacy of Trauma and the Labyrinth of Memory, was featured in the New York Times, and named a finalist for a National Jewish Book Award.
