The Race to Empower 5K Run & 1 Mile Fun Walk is an annual event held in Bucks County to raise awareness of teen dating violence and raise much-needed funds for each of the free programs and services A Woman's Place (AWP), Bucks County's only domestic violence organization, provides for the community. The event is supported by AWP's Young Adult Advisory Board (YAAB), a group of high school leaders dedicated to working with AWP to create a safe, flourishing Bucks County.
