Event description
A “how to” on to celebrate and uplift all bodies without making them feel even more “othered”.

About this Event

Play parties and sex positive spaces are where folx go to to find solace and community. However, they are also one of the spaces where we find ourselves being of the very few non-white people around.

This discussion, hosted by Hacienda's Safi & FiFi, is a friendly chat about how to treat and approach folx that may look different than you at a sex party...or literally anywhere. Learn how to celebrate and uplift all bodies without making them feel even more “othered”.

The format will be icebreakers, a “how to” guide, Q&A portion, and breakout rooms. Join us as we explore how to create more diverse, safe, and inclusive sex positive spaces.

Ticket holders will be sent the Zoom link via email directly after payment, and in the days leading up to the event. If you don't receive it, please check your spam mail.

Safi is a Black trans man and has been a member of the New York City kink and sex positive scene since the age of 19. He has explored everything between basement level dungeons to exclusive penthouse play parties. Throughout his journey in play spaces he has noticed a general lack of diversity and inclusivity. Safi believes that this can be remedied with representation and education. He has endeavored to incorporate alternative learning through his youtube channel, writing and social media platform with his fiance, Fifi. Safi’s mission as Hacienda's Diversity and Inclusivity Co-Lead is to help create a space that is aware, inclusive and safe for all races and gender identities.

Fifi is a Queer, cis Latinx woman and a member of the Hacienda community since 2016. Hacienda played an instrumental role in the way she was able to explore, and reclaim her sexual identity. Since then, Fifi has become a pleasure advocate, especially for BIPOC Femmes. Alongside her fiance, Safi, she she hopes to create platforms that make sex positivity and other lifestyles more accessible to marginalized groups, the way it was for her. Her mission as Hacienda's Diversity and Inclusivity Co-Lead is to continue making Hacienda a safe and inclusive space for QTBIPOC.
