Description

This program will feature a presentation by Dr. Willie Jennings of Yale University Divinity School. Dr. Jennings will talk about the complicated relationship that Christianity has had with racism and suggest steps that Christians from predominantly white and predominantly black churches can take to help build a better future together in Washington, DC. There will be an opportunity for those who attend to engage in small group discussions about some of the ideas that Dr. Jennings presents.

There will also be a free lunch after the program for those who wish to stay and engage in additional conversation with Dr. Jennings and other participants about how to work together to help shape the future of our city.
