Race Equality Works for Northern Ireland - Report launch
Join Ulster University, Business in the Community NI and CRAIC NI for the launch of a new report on race equality in Northern Ireland’s workplaces.
The report, written by Dr Lucy Michael of Ulster University’s Institute for Research in the Social Sciences, explores the steps taken by employers in Northern Ireland to address the race equality agenda, and the challenges employers identify in moving this agenda forward.
The research, which has been conducted in partnership with Business in the Community NI and CRAIC NI, adds a solid evidence base to understandings of how employers are benefitting from and supporting ethnic diversity in the workplace, and how they are planning for diversity in future workforce development.
You are invited to meet the partnership members behind the research, hear about the key findings and toolkit produced from the research, and the development of training by CRAIC NI to support the toolkit.
Speakers on the morning will include:
Jim Norris, All State NI
Catriona Reilly, Equality Commission for Northern Ireland
Denise Cranston, Business in the Community NI
Maciek Bator, CRAIC NI
Lucy Michael, Ulster University
Refreshments will be served on arrival.
