Description
Learn how to apply to the RAC Artist Fellowship with tips on navigating our new grant application website, creating a budget, and how to present your work. Free and open to all eligible artists in all disciplines. 5:30 to 6 pm light refreshments.
Workshop begins promptly at 6pm. Free parking on street and in lot behind Central Print. Accessible via the 74 Florissant, and the 30 Soulard bus lines (3 minute walk from each stop).
A new round of the Regional Arts Commission of St. Louis (RAC) Artist Fellowships are open on Monday, June 26th with a Thursday, August 10th deadline. This annual Artist Fellowship recognizes artistic excellence and honors the work of seasoned artists, advances the work of mid-career artists and nurtures the work of developing artists by providing funds to allow for more time and space to study, reflect, experiment, explore, practice, and create.These fellowships are investments in the careers of St. Louis artists as well as in the cultural vitality of the region.
Established in 2013 as a result of a comprehensive survey of St. Louis artists, ten $20,000 fellowships have been awarded each year to individual St. Louis artists of varying disciplines. Forty St. Louis area artists have now received this fellowship award.
