Description

Learn how to harvest & clean a meat rabbit for human consumption. This workshop will cover humane methods of dispatch, proper storage of meat, using all of the parts, along with basic cooking methods and recipes.

Processing demonstration: a rabbit will be processed by the instructor using cervical dislocation.

This class will be held rain or shine in our greenhouse. Pleasant positive atmosphere, informative handouts, and a unique opportunity to learn an important skill with like-minded people.

Hands-on option: We usually have extra fryers available for those who want to process a rabbit themselves at the workshop to take home. Fee is an additional $15 to be paid at check-in. Plan to stay a little longer if you choose this option.
