Saturday, April 22, 2017:
7:00 – 8:30: Breakfast.
9:00 – 11:00: Down the Rabbit Hole: Enter dreamtime. We begin our work by engaging with a personal dream image as we begin the journey of the dream world. We start with hypnotic writing, and move into somatic embodiment of the dream character. This allows us to integrate the energy and message of the dream and invoke its presence in our waking life. From here we return to hypnotic writing, this time to re-enter the dream where it left off and continue the story. We will follow up this morning session with some free time before lunch for movement, rest, journaling or processing as needed.
12:00 – 1:30: Lunch.
2:00 – 4:00: Mad Hatter Tea Party. Having shared our dream experiences from the morning session, the afternoon will involve creating a collaborative dreamtime. In this session we use hypnotic writing and somatic embodiment to allow our dream image/character to begin to interact with the dream images/characters of our fellow retreat participants.
In this process, we gain insights about our own dream life that we cannot possibly achieve on our own. When we create dreamtime in community with a cast of characters, we truly engage the collective unconscious and the highest source of wisdom from our soul.
In addition, interaction is in itself a form of alchemy, or spiritual movement and change. For instance, a dream character from another participant’s dream may show up to heal your dream character. Or, on the other hand, you may find a hidden challenge you need to work through by interacting with characters from the collective.
4:00 – 5:00: Free time and processing.
5:00 – 7:00: Dinner.
7:30 – 8:30: Dream Ritual. Working with a dream world presence, we take the time to honor our natural technology by bringing the dream into waking world with an offering. This deepens our relationship to synchronicity, intuition and guidance, and is a key part of engaging our dreams to work for us.
8:30 – 9:00: Dream Incubation – guided meditation to set intention for our dream space for the coming night.
9:00: Free time/bed.
Sunday, April 23, 2017:
7:00 - 9:00: Breakfast.
9:30 – 11:00: Closing Ritual – Dream Party! Our dream characters come together and celebrate the work of the weekend in a playful, community created party.
11:00 – 12:00: Q & A – all things dreams.
12:00 – 1:30: Lunch/Departure.
